This policy explains what data is processed when you visit ondaluxheatmap.com (the "website") and when you use the Ondalux Heatmap desktop application (the "app").
The app
The app runs entirely on your computer. It does not require an account, it does not send your floor plans, projects or survey data anywhere, and it contains no analytics or telemetry. Your projects are saved only where you choose to save them.
When you survey a site, the app reads the list of nearby WiFi networks from your operating system to build the measured heat map. That information is stored only in your project file.
The website
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider records technical information about each request — IP address, browser and operating system, requested page, date and time — to operate and protect the service. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.
Local storage
If you close the language suggestion, the website stores a single preference in your browser so it is not shown again. It contains no personal data and never leaves your device.
Advertising and cookies
This website shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies or similar identifiers to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure their performance; ads may be personalized based on your visits to this and other websites, according to your choices.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Manage or turn off personalized ads from Google: myadcenter.google.com.
- Opt out of personalized ads from other participating companies: optout.aboutads.info.
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's certified consent message before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Downloads
The app and the sample reports are served directly from this website. We do not record who downloads them beyond the server logs described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to its processing. For data processed by Google for advertising, use the Google tools linked above. For anything else, write to support@ondaluxheatmap.com.
Changes
We may update this policy when the website or the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
